SPC trace element mix chelate enables the bacteria to quickly and completely convert the acids and hydrogen formed in the fermenter into biogas. Trace element S compensates for the deficiency of trace nutrients that arises in biogas plants fed with a one-sided substrate, for example in the mono-digestion of corn silage. Even when manure or slurry is used as a partial feedstock, a deficiency in individual trace nutrients can occur. This is especially true when the plant is operated at maximum output with a very high digester loading rate or a short retention time.
