Hydraulic fluid HFC 46 is a modern, readily biodegradable, flame-retardant hydraulic fluid of type HFC, based on water, glycols, and selected additives.

Hydraulic fluid HFC 46 can be used wherever mineral oil-based fluids do not ensure optimal, safe operation due to their ease of ignition.
