Diabas Poultry Bedding is a mineral product for the thorough yet gentle removal of mites in poultry houses.
When in contact, the chitin shell of the pests is scratched, causing the mites to dry out. Advantages of this purely physical mode of action: the poultry house can be used again immediately, and the mites cannot develop resistance.

The product is not toxic to poultry or humans and is also not a biocide within the meaning of the Biocidal Products Regulation.

Diabas poultry litter is delivered ready for use. Mix it manually into the straw or other bedding in the poultry house.

One recommended application is to provide our product in dust baths.

The use of dust baths closely matches the chickens’ natural behavior of cleaning themselves with dust. The product penetrates deep into the plumage and can then develop its effect there.

Diabas poultry litter can be spread easily and is therefore ideal for use.

The low grain size of MinDB poultry litter enables rapid and complete coverage of contaminated surfaces.
